About Vinai Wholesale

Located at 6968 65th St Ste F, Sacramento, CA 95823, Vinai Wholesale operates as an asian grocery store serving Sacramento in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as supermarket, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–6 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (916) 399-8000. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, facebook.com.

Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 440 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sacramento follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

For sactown I believe this is the biggest Hmong grocery store. If u need your asian ingredients or fresh veges go there. They also have hotfood to go. I gotta say the papaya they freshly make inside the store is one of the best imo. More than enuf parking.

Very bad customer service. I got yelled at by an employee for asking nicely if someone could come help us at the register. I don’t expect much of a customer service at an Asian establishment but never thought I would get yelled at for asking nicely for an employee to ring us up. We all have bad days here and there but you should never take your anger out onto your paying customers. There’s plenty of Asian supermarkets in South Sacramento that I’ll be happy to support and spend my hard earned money. I will never step my foot into this place ever again. Zero star!

We buy stuff here a lot. But in the last two times we bought PAPAYA SALAD, we got sick: sore throats, fever and diarrhea. 1 time might be a fluke, but 2 times? I think they either have contamination or expired ingredients like Crab Paste or Shrimp Kabip that they use to make papaya salad. Please check your ingredients or I’ll report to health officials!

I only go here for papaya. It's delicious, authentic at an unbeatable price. I have not looked for other places. But I would say check your bag before leaving. They did forget my noodles but wrote it on the bag. Also, spiciness isn't consistent. I understand peppers are not consistent but I am talking about a huge difference from mild to very spicy. I always order the same amount of peppers because I cannot do spicy. On the plus, I always call to place an order. There is a line sometimes. They speak English. Parking is compact unless you park near the road. Store is big with a variety of hot food, grocery, cookware, etc. However, like a lot of Asian stores, hot food are not kept hot.

The store itself is fine. The produce are fresh, the papaya salad is good. The hot food vendors can be tricky, some hot foods are delicious and some are not. Unfortunately this time I picked out some that were not good. The purple sticky rice was out too long and had a bad smell. The spicy beef laab was salty and had no other flavor to it besides salt.
